Sigmund Freud

Guten tag! My name is Sigmund Freud, but you may know me as the father of psychoanalysis. I was born on May 6th, 1856 as Sigismund Schlomo Freud to honor a relative, but I eventually had my name shortened for convenience. The eldest of eight siblings, my mother often called me her "golden Sigi," and I don't mind if you use the nickname as well! Aside from psychology, my passions include reading classics (especially Greek and Roman mythology), collecting antiques, and spending time in nature, especially with my children! I have three sons-- Oliver, Ernst, and Jean-Martin-- and three daughters-- Sophie, Mathilde, and Anna. I've written many books over the years, but it is my opinion that The Interpretation of Dreams contains the most groundbreaking discoveries that I just so happened to be fortunate enough to come across. My work is my life, and I will continue it until the day I die!
